Holiday Inception Cookie

The ultimate Christmas cookie as actually two cookies! You will need a store-bought cookie mix, such as Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie to make this recipe.

Ingredients
 

  • 1 (17) oz package of cookie mix
  • 1/2 cup Flora™ Plant Butter Unsalted, melted
  • 1/4 cup applesauce
  • 18 Oreo ™ cookies

      Instructions
       

      1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Stir cookie mix, melted plant butter, and applesauce together in a medium-size bowl until soft dough forms.
      2. Using a cookie scoop. take one scoop of cookie dough and place on top of an Oreo™ Cookie. Take another scoop of dough and place on bottom of the Oreo™ Cookie. Using your hands, shape dough around the Oreo™ cookie. Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes before baking.
      3. Place chilled cookie dough onto ungreased cookie sheets about 2'' apart. Bake for 13-15 minutes. Cool on a cooling rack.
      To prevent the dough from sticking to your hands when shaping cookies, wet hands with water.
